New York City Eats

Infected with the Travel Bug

It will be half of the year into 2009 in two months.  For most Americans, Summer months are traveling months but for many who are being hit hard by the economic crisis may have to resist the summer out of the country or even out of the state visits.  Thankfully, I live in a pretty exciting city with a sample of every continent of the world conveniently located a walking distance or a metrocard ride away.

On my April itinerary of five places I really really really want to eat at are:

Amy Ruth’s /// 113 116th Street Harlem New York 10026.

Caracas Arepa Bar /// 93 1/2 East 7th Street New York NY 10009  |  291 Grand Street Brooklyn, NY 11211

Di Fara Pizza /// 1424 Avenue J Brooklyn New York 11230

Mamoun’s Falafel ///  119 MacDougal Street New York NY 10012 —the original Mamoun’s

Ippudo NY /// 65 Fourth Avenue New York NY 10003
